This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to information we collect through the website at groundworkfl.com (the “Site”), through our quote-request and contact forms, by phone or text message, by email, in person at a job site, and through any related online or offline service we provide (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before collecting or processing your information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Contact information: name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and the property address where work may be performed.Project information: the type of work you need (brush clearing, lot cleanup, debris removal, fence-line clearing, etc.), property size, access notes, photos of the property, gate codes, and any descriptions you share with us.Communications: messages you send us by web form, text message, email, voicemail, or social media, including any photos or files you attach.Payment information: when you pay an invoice, our payment processor collects the information needed to process the transaction. We do not store full credit-card numbers on our systems.Reviews and feedback: ratings, reviews, and testimonials you submit directly to us or on third-party platforms tied to our business.Referral information: if a partner refers you, we receive your contact information from the referring partner

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and certain third-party services we use may automatically collect:

4. Mobile Phone Numbers and SMS Messaging

4.1 What We Collect

If you provide your mobile phone number to us — by submitting a quote request or contact form, by texting us, by giving it to us by phone, by completing a printed intake card, or through any other means that includes a clear opt-in disclosure — we collect that number along with the date, time, source, and IP address (where applicable) of your opt-in for compliance recordkeeping.

4.2 How We Use Your Mobile Number

We use your mobile number to send you transactional and operational text messages (SMS and MMS) related to your inquiry and the Services, including:

Confirmation that we received your quote request;Follow-up messages to gather property details, photos, and access information;Appointment confirmations, reminders, and reschedules;Quote delivery, quote follow-up, and approval confirmations;Job-day status messages (“on my way,” “job complete”);Invoice delivery and payment confirmations;Review requests after a completed job;Occasional customer-care messages, seasonal service reminders, or service updates relevant to past customers.

4.3 Consent, Frequency, Rates, and Opt-Out

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further text messages. 4.4 No Sharing of Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors supporting our services (e.g., our SMS aggregator, customer-relationship platform, or hosting providers) is permitted only as strictly necessary to deliver the messages and operate the Services. All other categories of personal information exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage) to (a) keep the Site working, (b) remember your preferences, (c) measure traffic and engagement, and (d) understand how visitors arrive at and move through the Site so we can improve it.

Categories we use:

Hosting, website-platform, customer-relationship, SMS aggregator, email-delivery, analytics, payment processing, and bookkeeping providers process information solely on our behalf and under contract.Subcontractors and team members. Where we use a contractor to assist on a job, we may share the property address, scope, and access notes needed to complete the workInsurance and legal. Important: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent records are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances. See Section 4.4.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to meet our legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Common retention periods:

8. How We Protect Information

No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site and the Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us using the information in Section 13 and we will delete it.

11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Industry standards for these signals are not yet uniform. Where required by law, we will treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out from the sale or sharing of personal information.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. We are not responsible for the practices of any third party.
